ipSpace.net Design Clinic is a monthly Zoom call open to ipSpace.net users with active paid subscription. Each session starts with a whiteboarding discussion of multiple design challenges submitted by ipSpace.net subscribers and concludes with an open-mike discussion of whatever technology topics the audience finds interesting.

The discussions are recorded, and the best bits are published as parts of relevant webinars or as a stand-alone collection.

The design clinic started in September 2021 and is run approximately once a month. We discussed these topics so far:

September 2021

  • Microsegmentation principles in campus environments
  • Implementing IP transport services across an enterprise IP backbone
  • Overlay virtual networking implementations: software or hardware?
